CIDO: Local Community Radio

Volunteer Information and Orientation: Feb 21, 2009 10:00 – 4:00 Development Centre on Canyon Street. Bring a bag lunch. Everyone welcome. Come out for a day of radio fun. Learn about how You can become involved in Community Radio. Now is the time to get involved as a volunteer in community radio.

The Creston Valley Fest

We are the Creston Valley Fest committee, a volunteer based community committee under the umbrella of the Creston Arts Council. This committee came together for the sole purpose of creating and maintaining an annual, high quality, big name, family orientated music festival that will promote the Creston valley as a tourism destination and to provide a destination-marketing tool, which will give people a reason to come, stay and visit the Creston Valley.

Any one who would like to join our festival team are encouraged to come to our meetings. The first Monday of the month at 7:30pm at the Legion hall, 11 Ave N, Creston, BC. Or call Louise at 428 4326 or Sam at 402 6365.

Volunteer Opportunites in the arts community abound. More information about how you can get involved, please attend our next monthly meeting. Meetings are held on the second Wednesday of the month from September - June and are held at the Snoring Sasquatch Hostel, 221 11th Ave N., Creston, BC. 7pm.
