Re: Marketing opportunities with Kootenay Carnival Magazine.
Kootenay Carnival Magazine has taken on a life of its own with many artists showing great interest in advertising with us. The cost involved in publishing a magazine such as Kootenay Carnival is great and we have set our rates based on the ability to cover costs and to become sustainable. We do understand that these rates make it difficult for artists and non profit groups to advertise in. It is with this in mind that we extend a cost effective offer to independent artists and arts councils in the region. We are taking one colour page in the magazine and calling it “Your friends, your neighbours—artists of the Kootenays”. This page will have room for ten advertisements of a 12th in size. We are offering these spaces at a flat rate of $75.00 per issue. This is a tremendous savings nearing 45% off our regular rates giving artists the opportunity to market their work in glossy colour format. Some conditions apply when it comes to the design of these ad spaces. We will fill this page on a first come first serve basis. All interested parties may contact our office for further details.
