New funds for operating organizations, individual artists and public access
The Canada Council for the Arts will increase its funding to arts organizations and individual artists, as well as to activities aimed at improving public access to the arts (e.g., touring, circulation and dissemination), as a result of the increase to its Parliamentary appropriation (for a period of two years) announced in last May’s federal budget.
